Finding information online about traditional archery bowyers and suppliers can be hard. In the majority of cases when a custom-made bow is purchased, the bowyer chosen is normally the result of a personal recommendation – maybe from somebody else in your archery club or immediate circles.
The Traditional Archery directory is designed to be a user-review based directory, where users can share their recommendations to a wider community.
My goal is for the directory to be driven by the scores associated with each review, so ultimately bowyers/suppliers with better reviews will rank more prominently.
Standard Listings
There is no cost to claim a standard listing in the directory. I review all companies before listing, so selling or manufacturing equipment related to traditional archery is a pre-requisite! If you don’t currently have a standard listing or would like to edit your existing listing, email directory@traditional-archery.co.uk and I will update it.
Standard listings:
- Are limited to 100 words company description
- Include a link to your website (or email address if you don’t have a website)
- May include location, key contact name and telephone
Premium Listings
Premium listings are priced at £24.99/month, or £269 per annum. Premium listings include:
- Featured and highlighted above the standard listings
- Creation of an on-site video interview, which would be embedded on your listings page. The video would be hosted on Youtube, so you could embed the video on your website as well if you wished
(International bowyers – unless you record the video yourself clearly I will be unable to conduct an on-site interview. Other options include an audio-only interview.)
- 500 word limit company description
- Monthly reporting on how many clicks your listing has generated (assuming you have a website link)
- Ad space (50 word limit) in email updates*
Because this is a new service, until Friday, October 14th I am offering premium listings at a 50% reduction on the annual price (£134.50 per annum), or 30% off the pay-monthly rate (£17.49 per month). This price will then be frozen for as long as you choose to advertise.
*Every time a new article is published on the site, it is also emailed to my list of subscribers. Circulation is currently just shy of 100 recipients (but growing).
